JRC Students take on the Ultimate Indoor Karting Experience

For having the best attendance at JRC last term, our Art & Design Level 3 Year 2 students won the prize of an ultimate indoor karting experience at TeamSport in Mitcham.
Equipped with kart suits, helmets and gloves, students and tutors alike were ready to put the pedal to the metal.

Tracy Carrington – Lecturer commented: “The students really appreciated that their attendance was rewarded and acknowledged by the College. They enjoyed the experience, and it also provided an opportunity to engage as a class outside of the college setting.”
Andrea, Art & Design student added: “This was my first time at Karting and have to say I loved it. The karts were faster than I was expecting, and I have to admit that it did get a bit competitive to see who set the fastest lap time.”
