What is LEAP?

If you are aged 16-18, not in education, employment or training then our LEAP course is for you!

John Ruskin College in South Croydon will be running a short LEAP course that can support you with your Learning, Employability and Progression.

The LEAP course is a great way to ease you into College life, prepare and support you with building the skills you’ll need for the future, whether that be in employment or a future training course.

  • Citizenship
  • Digital Literacy
  • Enterprise Project
  • Preparation for Work
  • Work Experience

This course, has varied start and exit points and is designed to help young people who may need a little support to transition into employment in their local community.

Where can it lead? 

This programme can lead to employment in the local community or prepare you to start College in September.

Entry requirements and fees

There are no entry requirements but the course is aimed at students who have spent some time in further education and are now looking for a route into work or want to get ready for College in September.  

If you are under 19 on 31/08/2021, tuition is free.
