John Ruskin College supports with Dementia Cafe

On the 4 October, John Ruskin College partnered with Manju Shahul-Hemeed Foundation to help run the Dementia Café. This event was created to offer a place to socialise, learn more and enjoy something new.

The event generated 35 guests whereby John Ruskin students from Health & Social Care supported the elderly in providing; Teas, Coffees, Cake and allowed the opportunity for them to take part in therapeutic drawing/painting. The students supported the foundation while other activities such as singing, dancing and general chats took place.
