I’m Richard Brooks the Business Development Manager and I work within the Careers team by supporting students and local/national businesses through the Apprenticeship journey. I have been working within the Further Education industry since 1998.

I have extensive experience in management since starting my own career journey in Retail and moving into Electrical Engineering. The Engineering sector is one of my specialties as the diversity of the sector puts many variables into play. I work very closely with the curriculum areas to ensure I can produce the best bespoke training plans to meet the needs of businesses as well as the students.
