Hairdressing Level 3 - Crina
Crina found the course she was looking for at John Ruskin College, choosing Hairdressing Level 3 due to her passion for hair. She likes to be creative and enjoys meeting new people, making them feel better about themselves by dressing their hair.
Speaking about the support she receives, Crina commented that if she ever does need extra support that her teachers and the students in her class are all brilliant. The other students in particular have “all become great friends. We help each other in lessons and outside of College too.”
During her course, Crina has had work experience at a hair salon as a Junior Hair Stylist. This really helped Crina build on her communication skills and confidence. She has also competed in the AHT Competition in the category of Ladies Evening Style, which she really enjoyed as it showed “the standard of work in the industry.”
For Crina’s next steps, she has progressed onto a University Level course at East Surrey College.
