Body & Spa Trip to Wimbledon Spa

As part of their Hydrotherapy assessments, our Body & Spa Therapy Level 3 students went on a therapeutic trip to Spa Experience Wimbledon.

Students have been working hard on their Monitor and Maintain Spa unit which focuses on providing induction, consultation, treatment care and advice on using specific spa facilities.

Students were greeted by Alex Higginson, the Spa Manager who provided students with a tour of the facilities featuring the Hammam, sauna, monsoon showers and the relaxation area. Additionally, students received an in-depth talk about career opportunities within the industry which included recruitment opportunities at Spa Experience.

Thank you to Natalie, Beauty Therapy and Body & Spa Therapy tutor for organising this fun day out. Students really enjoyed the experience and have grown in confidence with spa treatments.

For anyone interested in receiving a pampering, The Atrium (Hair, Body & Spa) Salon is open to the public located at John Ruskin College in Croydon. We offer a variety of hair, beauty and spa treatments using salon professional products, all at reduced salon rates.
