OSC Nominations for Pearson National Teaching Awards

At Orbital South Colleges, we are pleased to share that 4 of our tutors and our Public Service team were nominated for The Pearson National Teaching Awards.
The awards are run by The Teaching Awards Trust to support the Pearson Awards mission to celebrate the impact of educators across the UK. The event is hosted annually in order to recognise the incredible work of teaching communities and educators as well as celebrate the successes within education.
With 16 different categories within the awards, tutors Linval Antonio and Victor Murithi, as well as our Public Service team have been nominated, and will be receiving their certificates later this year.

Additionally, a big congratulation to Allison Warner, who’s pre-school was nominated internally at East Surrey College, and she has achieved a bronze award.
The Pearson Awards will be sharing the awards in June, from there we will be celebrating our tutors and team on our internal staff conference event. Where we will be presenting them with their awards to celebrate their achievements and recognise their hard work.
A big congratulations, this is a fantastic achievement for all 4 tutors and team!
