Network Rail Apprenticeship Workshop
Date: 24 January 2024
Network Rail delivered an online presentation for our year 1, Engineering Level 2 and 3 students on 24 January 2024. With students from both our Colleges – East Surrey College and John Ruskin College, dialling in to take part in the online workshop, the event was a great insight for them all.
The purpose of the event was to give our students an idea about what it is like to work for Network Rail including their Apprenticeship Programme and Early Career pathways ahead of National Apprenticeship Week in February.
Network Rail also covered placement opportunities and the extent of their employment career paths which gave all the students a fantastic opportunity to explore their options.
These links with employers are key to ensuring our students get the best opportunities open to them while they are with us. This gives them a massive step up when they enter the world of employment.
If you are interested in engineering, you can find out more about Apprenticeships and Full-time courses available at John Ruskin College or attend one of our upcoming open events where you can learn more about our employer partners.
