Hair and Beauty students travelled up to Blackpool on Sunday to prepare themselves for a busy day of competing at the AHT (Association of Hairdressers & Therapists) National Final!
The competition began on Monday and saw our students demonstrate their creative skills in the Fantasy Hairdressing and Gender Transformation categories.
The competition was significantly harder than the Regionals, where we secured a 1st and 3rd place. The National Finals sees all the winners from Colleges over the country come together to compete against one another in exciting heats.
To finish in the top three of a category at the finals is a major achievement and congratulations to Hair & Media Make-Up Level 2 student Chanelle for winning 1st place in the Gender Transformation category!
Well done also to Hairdressing Level 3 student Leeyah for demonstrating excellent creative skills in Fantasy hair.
