9 July 2026
On 9 July, our Kings Trust team were invited to attend the London Delivery Partner Awards, an evening designed to recognise the achievements of the King’s Trust programme staff and the incredible potential of young people.
The Kings Trust programme enables students to develop the employability, teamwork and community skills required to progress into employment, apprenticeships, further education or training.
Programme Lead Dylan England received the ‘Consistent Delivery Award’, as well as receiving Highly Commended for ‘Biggest King’s Trust Advocate’, for his fantastic work in the Kings Trust department at John Ruskin College.
“Winning ‘Consistent Delivery Award’ and being the runner-up for ‘Biggest King’s Trust Advocate’ at the London Delivery Partner Awards is a huge honour.” He went on to add, “seeing the positive impact the programme has on young people’s confidence, skills and future aspirations is incredibly rewarding, and to have that work recognised by the King’s Trust is something I am very proud of.”
Earlier this month, the first cohort of the Kings Trust programme at JRC wrapped up their studies. They spent a fantastic twelve weeks working to complete a wide range of activities which have helped grow their confidence and shape their future goals. From volunteering in the local community to taking part in a week-long residential trip, the learners have made the most of the experience and will leave John Ruskin College ready for their next step.
