Support in the Workplace services can help your organisation grow through tailored training, apprenticeships, and employer partnerships. We work with both local businesses and national companies, providing apprenticeships and work-based training across multiple disciplines.
The support we provide to employers is vast and varied. There are many benefits to arranging work-based training for your staff – offering flexibility around the job, filling skills gaps and even gaining access to government funding to support training costs. We can discuss options with you. Talk to us if you are considering any of the following:-

Apprenticeship training
We can advise on what apprenticeship standards we can support with training, guide you through the process of setting up on the government apprenticeship website, discuss your eligibility for funding and agree training options for your new employees. We work with hundreds of employers each year, so are highly experienced in supporting your needs.

Training needs for your organisation
With access to a wealth of teachers and trainers, we can run bespoke sessions to suit your employee training needs. This might include statutory compliance training which will be required by law for your employees to undertake. Or there may be useful upskilling or even supporting staff wellbeing we can work with you on.

Work experience opportunities
If you can offer work experience placements for our students – a great way of engaging with a future talent pipeline, then talk to our Careers team who can find students for you.

Join an employer advisory group
To ensure we are reflecting local employer needs in our curriculum, we work with employers to take on their advice and suggestions about how we ensure we are embedding the right skills and learning into the lessons we teach. This is vital to prepare our students for real work environments on leaving us, and make them highly desirable and suited to the local employment landscape.
