If you want to boost your confidence, motivation, communication, and employability skills, the King’s Trust programme could be exactly what you need. This intensive 12‑week course offers exciting challenges and the opportunity to discover strengths and talents you didn’t know you had.
The aim of this qualification is to enable students to develop the employability, teamwork and community skills required to progress into employment, apprenticeships, further education or training.
Students will build confidence, motivation and personal effectiveness through practical, experiential learning, including outdoor activities, community projects and structured work experience.

• 2 weeks of work experience

• Supporting others
• Final presentation
The programme dates are as follows:
Term 1 (September 2026)
• Team Start Date: 28 September 2026
• Team End Date: 17 December 2026
Term 2 (January 2027)
• Team Start Date: 18 January 2027
• Team End Date: 9 April 2027
Term 3 (April 2027)
• Team Start Date: 26 April 2027
• Team End Date: 16 July 2027
No formal qualifications needed.
This course is for students aged 16-25who are unemployed or working under 16 hours and/or in college less than 14 hours per week.
You may progress to a college course in your chosen subject area. Alternatively you may progress to an apprenticeshiporinto employment.
Assessment is ongoing and evidenced through a portfolio of course work.
The fees displayed are the MAXIMUM payable by adults aged 19+ unless you qualify for a concessionary fee. Please be aware that there may be additional costs for materials.
Concessions
Tuition fees may be waived or reduced if you are on a low income or receive certain benefits.
If you don’t qualify for a concession, you will need to pay for your course in full or apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to cover the cost (Level 3-6 courses only).
