This is a professional course where you will gain a recognised qualification to practice beauty therapy. You will study treatments such as facials, make up, manicure, waxing, and lash & brow treatments. You will also receive essential training covering health and safety, salon hygiene and customer care.

UNITS/TOPICS COVERED:
- Provide eyelash and brow treatments
- Provide facial skin care
- Follow health and safety practice in the salon
- Apply make-up
- Client care and communication in beauty related industries
- Provide manicure treatments
- Waxing
EQUIPMENT NEEDED:
- College uniform is required (approximately £50).
- Specific kit or equipment is required (approximately £220).
There are no formal entry requirements for this course, but an appropriate level of literacy is required and an interview is necessary.
Employment in the Beauty industry, self-employment, or additional certificate level qualifications in related areas such as massage, depilation, and nail services etc.
A portfolio of practical work, exams.
The fees displayed are the MAXIMUM payable by adults aged 19+ unless you qualify for a concessionary fee. Please be aware that there may be additional costs for materials.
Concessions
Tuition fees may be waived or reduced if you are on a low income or receive certain benefits.
If you don’t qualify for a concession, you will need to pay for your course in full or apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to cover the cost (Level 3-6 courses only).
