The College has light, open workspaces with high quality industry standard facilities. This includes a state-of-the-art digital media suite, competition standard sports hall, photography studio and Hair, Beauty and Spa salons. There is also a Construction Skills Centre featuring high spec facilities for plumbing, painting & decorating and carpentry workshops. More recently, JRC has invested in a new immersive suite that is available to all student on any course. State-of-the-art learning comes alive through interactive experiences and dynamic peer-to-peer collaboration.

Atrium Hair & Beauty Spa
The Atrium Hair, Beauty & Spa is a modern training salon open to the public. Located at John Ruskin College, you can book a variety of hair, beauty and spa treatments using salon professional products, all at reduced salon rates.
The LRC
The LRC (Learning Resource Centre) provides students with a safe and engaging environment to study individually or in classes. Students have access to PCs, books, eBooks, newspapers and magazines to support their learning.
LRC staff are available to help with computer issues including accessing key College services, passwords, Microsoft accounts, Learner Hub, eBooks and the College WiFi.
The Immersive Suite
Our immersive sutie is packed with state-of-the-art technology, Including a media wall, two interactive screens and several VR headsets designed to support students learning and understanding across all subject areas.
Our workshops
Our Construction Suite is a purpose-built space featuring many of our state of the art workshops. These spaces give you a dedicated environment for hands-on learning and the opportunity to develop the practical skills needed for success on your course.
