WHAT IS AN APPRENTICESHIP?

As an Apprentice, you will be employed by a company and earn a wage whilst you learn, build your skills and gain a nationally recognised qualification. Training is flexible, with the majority being completed ‘on the job’ and the rest provided by us at College where you will learn the theory side of your job.

WHO CAN BECOME AN APPRENTICE?

You can start an apprenticeship if:

  • You’re aged 16+
  • Live in England
  • You’re not in full-time education
LEVELS OF APPRENTICESHIPS

Apprenticeships have equivalent educational levels. The level you study at will depend on your existing qualifications and experience.

Apprenticeship Levels

PAY

Your employer will support your training and pay you at least the hourly National Minimum Wage. Many employers choose to pay substantially more than the apprenticeship minimum wage.
