Orbital South Colleges partners with Tandridge Job Fair to connect residents with employers

On Thursday 13 February Orbital South Colleges helped to support Tandridge District Council in delivering their Job Fair at the Council Offices in Oxted.

The event was aimed at providing the community with career advice and giving them the opportunity to connect with local employers who have job and apprenticeship vacancies. During the event, workshops were provided to prepare people for employment, some of which included how to improve your CV, look for a job and prepare for an interview.

Orbital South Colleges had a stand at the event, which was supported by Ameerah Rujbally, Recruitment and Resourcing Advisor, and Kai Coutet-Arthur, Recruitment and Resourcing Advisor. OSC attended the Job Fair to inform the community of employment opportunities at the College and to promote the array of courses available, from Higher Education to Adult learning.

After the event Ameerah addressed the success of fair, commenting, “It brought together a diverse group of talented individuals, each with unique skills and experiences. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to share their stories and aspirations”.
