OSC celebrate Proud 2 B Me Week

OSC celebrate Proud 2 B Me Week

Date: 19 March 2025

From Monday 10 - Friday 14 March OSC celebrated Proud 2 B Me, a special week dedicated to celebrating diversity, inclusion and community across our Colleges.

Orbital South Colleges students put on a live music session as part of the Proud 2 B Me celebrations. Music Performance & Production students showcased their character and talent performing a mix of original songs and covers to their peers and tutors.

A ‘High Vibes, Low Stress’ workshop also took place with Gemma Legrand; the session focused on techniques to shift your mindset, release tension and elevate your energy. Other sessions included an external visit from the Metropolitan Police who spoke to students about the work they do to protect the community, before offering a Q&A session.

Our Canteen also played a part in the celebrations, putting on an array of food from communities represented across our Colleges. Indian, Caribbean, African, Middle Eastern and Chinese food were on the menu for our students to enjoy across Orbital South Colleges.

Thank you to all those who made helped to organise Proud 2 B Week, the wide range of events was an excellent showcase of the diverse and inclusive community that has been created at Orbital South Colleges.
