Kelsey

Department: Work Based Learning (Apprenticeships).

Currently studying: Level 2 Diploma in Legal Administration.

I applied to John Ruskin College because… it has good connections with local firms, such as Forman Law, that helped me establish myself and pursue my career. The College is also local to my place of work and offered the course I wish to study.

The things I have enjoyed most about the Apprenticeship are… the practical nature of the work. More particularly, I have enjoyed attending hearings at Court, shadowing my colleagues, preparing Court applications and meeting and interviewing clients. With regard to the College work, I have enjoyed expanding my knowledge about legal practices and administration and applying this at work.

On completion of the course I hope to… begin the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives course.

Previous School: Bullers Wood for girls.
