Additional Learning Support

support

John Ruskin College promotes equality of opportunity for all students.

  • If you consider that you have a disability, a learning difficulty or particular support need we will make any reasonable adaptations to meet your needs.
  • John Ruskin College is a fully inclusive College with experienced and dedicated staff who will work to help you through your studies and college life.
  • Our admissions process allows you to identify your support needs at an early stage, using the application form or the enrolment form so that we can put in place support that you may need at the start of your programme.
  • All support is specific to each individual, and before you start at John Ruskin College, meetings are held with you to establish your individual needs and preferences, so that provisions can be put in place.
  • Once you have enrolled, you will be invited in for a discussion with a member of the Additional Learning Support team to discuss your needs and how we can best support you during your time at John Ruskin College. You may like to bring along a parent / guardian / carer or friend to your interview. Together we will develop your Additional Action Plan.
