John Ruskin college choir sing their heart out

On Thursday, 17th December 2009, John Ruskin Gospel Choir had their final performance for the year 2009 at Guernsey Grove community project in Herne Hill. Having sung there the previous year, they were kindly invited back to entertain the senior citizens, once again, on their Christmas lunch. Led by their Student Activities Leader , Natalie Walters, the talented students started off their performance by singing ‘Silent night’, after which everyone joined them for the famous carol ‘Oh come all ye faithful’. Finally, Marina Ivanova finished off with ‘Ave Maria’ by Franz Schubert. A good time was had by all and it was truly a lovely event.
