Results day at John Ruskin College is once again a time for celebration for staff and students. With around 900 entries the college has achieved an impressive 94% pass rate overall with a 100% pass rate in no less than 21 qualifications. These include traditional subjects such as Physics, Economics, English and Electronics as well as more recent additions such as Media Studies and Graphic Design. Almost half of the students achieved high grades in their qualifications -evidence of the very high standards that the college expects so that students reach their full potential.
Principal Jennifer Sims said: "We are delighted with these results. The majority of students will now take up their university places which will provide the foundations for a successful career. This is the culmination of the hard work that students and staff at the college have put in throughout the academic year and they are to be congratulated."
