Jonathan Ross to launch John Ruskin College’s new A+ programme
13th June 2007
'King of British broadcasting', Jonathan Ross, has found time in his busy schedule to do some broadcasting of a different nature. In September, he will be visiting John Ruskin College to launch the new A+ programme. This exciting new programme, whilst having a significant emphasis on learning and study, will also be seeking to develop the individual by designing a programme to suit their individual needs.
A levels will be packaged with a focus on one area of the curriculum giving a streamlined approach towards their chosen career path. In addition to their four A levels, a programme of complementary activities specifically linked to their courses will provide a richer learning experience and will assist them in developing their A level work. These activities might include professional visits, careers events, outdoor activities, critical thinking and study techniques. These activities aim to give students an extra advantage when approaching employers or universities in future.
John Ruskin College looks forward to welcoming Jonathan Ross and all our new A+ students in September.
