John Ruskin College’s Diversity Day
10th January 2007
On 19th December, John Ruskin College’s Student Council organised an event to celebrate the diverse range of cultures within the College. Students and staff wore their national colours or traditional costume and gathered in the JRC Café for a lively celebration. There was an eclectic mix of colours and patterns and the wonderful atmosphere was mirrored with singing and dancing. Many countries were represented including Ghana, Nigeria, Brazil, England, Barbados, India, Pakistan, Guyana, the Philippines to name but a few. The event also managed to raise over £53 for the Breast Cancer Campaign.
