The cafeteria is the heart of the college’s social activities. As well as providing refreshments for both staff and students it is used by students in a variety of ways whether for chatting in breaks between lessons or enjoying an early morning coffee (and sometimes breakfast!) before the first lesson of the day. As it is such an attractive area it has sometimes been used for staff meetings as an alternative to the conference centre and frequently as a gathering place for staff at the beginning of training days or for refreshments before parents' evenings.
