A minimum of English Language GCSE at grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) and Maths GCSE at grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) and any of the below (unless stated otherwise):
– 2 other GCSEs at grade 4/C (or above)
– Merit at Level 2 BTEC Extended Certificate/Diploma (or above)
– Merit at Level 2 VRQ Diploma
– Pass at Level 2 NVQ

You must show through initial assessment that you are working towards English and Maths skills at Level 1. You will also need to demonstrate commitment, a good attendance record and a willingness to learn.

You will be placed on the right level of course through initial assessment and interview. You will progress to the next level if you already have an ESOL qualification.
