What does the course involve?
The course is centred around medical and forensic themes. You will:
- Learn about the basic principles underlying the application of biological, chemical, environmental and physical areas of science.
- Actively experience the science environment by visiting science related companies and institutions.
- Develop important practical skills in science.
- Develop your communication, IT and number skills in a scientific setting.
- Develop an awareness of how industry applies science in a wide range of essential functions.
How is the course assessed?
This is an ideal course for you if you prefer coursework to exams. You will be assessed on the quality of your coursework. Overall grades of pass/merit and distinction will be awarded on the successful completion of all your assignments at the end of this two year course.
