    The thing I have enjoyed most at John Ruskin College is the course I am currently studying in the Hair & Beauty Department.

    On completion of the course I hope to study Level 1 in Beauty Therapy at the College.

    I applied to John Ruskin College because I saw that the institution was well equipped to cater for all my educational needs.

    The thing I have enjoyed most at John Ruskin College is the teachers who have given me loads of support when I really needed it both inside and outside of lessons, and whilst working in the library. I have also loved meeting with new friends.

    On completion of the course I hope to achieve very high grades with the aim to continue my ICT training at a higher level. I would also like to take a part time position with a firm’s ICT Department. I also hope to use the skills I have acquired from the training to achieve excellence in my selected field.

    I applied to John Ruskin College because I researched and saw that this was the best College for this course, also it was located near to my house.

    The things I have enjoyed most at John Ruskin College are the people here, the friendly teachers, and how enjoyable and fun this course is. It’s a nice environment and my class is like a big family.

    On completion of the course I hope to carry on to Level 3 hairdressing or an apprenticeship in a hair salon.

    I applied to John Ruskin College because I wanted to learn more about computers and how they work.

    The things I have enjoyed most at John Ruskin College are working out in the gym and going out on trips.

    On completion of the course I hope to advance to a Level 3 at the College.

    I applied to John Ruskin College because they were able to accommodate the subject area in which I am studying.

    The things I have enjoyed most at John Ruskin College are the fantastic opportunities and life changing experiences that this College offers; trips to Europe, visiting football stadiums, snowboarding and many more adventurous activities that help engage students to make learning fun and bring the best out of people.

    On completion of the course I hope to further achieve my goals in continuing to study Physical Education with the opportunity of teaching the art of sport the way I have been taught.

    I applied to John Ruskin College because it was purely a vocational College.

    The things I have enjoyed most at John Ruskin College are the fact that it is not in a built up area and has a friendly atmosphere. I have appreciated the support that I have received since starting here at John Ruskin College. It has allowed me to look at my studies as a positive and worthwhile experience. Being a student representative here at the College has enabled me to represent those who need support and make their studies more worthwhile.

    On completion of the course I hope to go to university and study Politics and Sociology.

    I applied to John Ruskin College because I attended the College last year on the Key Stage 4 Programme and really enjoyed myself academically, so I decided to stay.

    The things I have enjoyed most at John Ruskin College are the staff who are lovely, and the students who are really friendly.

    On completion of the course I hope to go to University, create a series on the internet that will be successful and finish my book so I can publish it.

    The things I have enjoyed most at John Ruskin College are making new friends and having the independence on a daily basis.

    On completion of the course I hope to achieve a distinction, enabling me to start a photography course at University.

    I applied to John Ruskin College because I heard good reviews from many friends who attend the College and also having the nursery facilities made it easy for me to study after school knowing my daughter was safe. I also studied Level 2 Hairdressing here.

    The thing I have enjoyed most at John Ruskin College is the friendly atmosphere around the College. You feel welcome wherever you go. I have also enjoyed the way the College have given me extra help when I need it.

    On completion of the course I hope to carry on to do barbering and then Level 4 Hairdressing.

    The thing I have enjoyed most at John Ruskin College is the work experience aspect of the course. I believe that you learn by practice as well as theory. The teachers are very supportive and encouraging.

    On completion of the course I hope to go to Kingston University to study Forensic Science and I enjoy analysing genetics and molecular biology.
