What our students say
I realised I wanted to be a Social Media Networking Manager and started focusing on getting experience. The staff at the College helped me by giving me tasks and jobs to do, such as helping with the marketing of the College’s Social Networks and putting me in charge of the Marketing Committees. If it wasn’t for John Ruskin College I wouldn’t be the person I am today. I wouldn’t be the bubbly girl who socialises with everyone and I wouldn’t have a place at Bournemouth University to study Multimedia Journalism. I finished my Film & TV course with Distinction, Distinction, Distinction, which exceeded my target grade by two grades but not only did I leave with the grades, I also left with the life/ employability skills I need to continue to become brilliant and successful.
